The spiritual hip-hop group the Galactic Council is releasing their first CD "Galactic Funktions" online this week. The music is a unique combination of conscious hip-hop, funk, and reggae filled with positive vibes and bass-bumping beats. The Galactic Council Hip-Hop Collective was formed by producers Resonant Sun and Cerberus, both Bay Area natives, who have been producing together for over five years with the intention of creating positive hip-hop. They collaborated with 12 cutting-edge musicians to produce "Galactic Funktions" and give the album a more universal feel.
